★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ランチは何を食べようか…と思いつつ駅前にゴーゴーカレーがあったのを思い出して訪問。店内は満席で食券を買って待ちます。
うなぎの寝床タイプのカウンターオンリーの座席ですね。少し待って着席し食券を店員さんに渡します。
昔のゴーゴーカレーは550円でカツカレーが食べられたのを記憶してますが、今だと550円では素のカレーライスのみなのですね。750円のロースカツカレーを注文しました。
少し待って提供されます。相変わらず金属のお皿にカツカレーとキャベツが盛られるスタイル。
最後に食べたのが10年近く前の記憶ですが、その頃ほど美味しさを感じられませんでした。ルーはいまいち味がボケた感じだし、カツも薄めで揚がりすぎているのか肉がカチカチであまり美味しくない。
ゴーゴーカレーが変わってしまったのか自分の味覚や好みが変わったのか…
I remembered that there was Go Go Curry in front of the station while thinking about what to eat for lunch. The store is full and you can buy a meal ticket and wait.
It's an eel bed type counter-only seat. Wait for a while, sit down and give the meal ticket to the clerk.
I remember that Go Go Curry used to be eaten at 550 yen, but now it's just plain curry rice at 550 yen. I ordered a 750 yen loin cutlet curry.
It will be served after a short wait. As usual, the style is that cutlet curry and cabbage are served on a metal plate.
The last time I ate it was about 10 years ago, but I didn't feel it was as delicious as it was then. The taste of roux is not so good, and the cutlet is thin and fried too much, and the meat is ticky and not very delicious.
Did Go Go Curry change or did my taste and taste change ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高田馬場駅前周辺にはレベルが高いカレー屋さんがひしめいているのであまり行くことはないのですが、たまーに寄ります。
見た目はとても美味しそうに見えるのですが、カツは少し硬いし、カレールーとご飯の量のバランスがぼくにとってはアンバランスです。ルーたっぷりに見えますが、ご飯に対して少なく感じます。それとキャベツの水切りがあまいとじわっと水分がたまってくるのでそれもあんまり好きではない。
回転が早く、すぐ出てくるのはよいですね。
ささっとカツカレーを食べたい時におすすめのお店です。
There are so many high-level curry shops around Takadanobaba Station, so I don't go there so often, but I stop by.
It looks good, but the cutlet is a bit hard and the balance between curry roux and rice is unbalanced for me. It looks plenty roux, but feels less for rice. I also don't like that because the cabbage drainer gets soaked and the water gets collected.
It's good that it turns quickly and comes out immediately.
It's a recommended place for quick cutlet curry.

銀のさらに入ってて、キャベツとカツが乗ってて先割れスプーンで食べる黒いカレー。
代表的な金沢カレーですね。昔から大好きです。

It's a typical Kanazawa curry. I have loved it for a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金沢名物のカツカレー。ゴーゴーカレーはもう言わずと知れたチェーン店です。
とろみのあるカレーをフォークで食べる。
カツのソース、キャベツと絡めても美味しい。
キャベツのおかわり自由はありがたいです。
店内はそんなに広くなく、10数名で満席になるほど。
マヨネーズがテーブルに常備してあるのはありがたいです。
券売機は入口に一つあるのみ。
電子マネーの類は使えません。
ロースカツカレーの普通で800円。
少し高いかもしれませんがお腹いっぱい食べることができるでしょう。
トッピングも色々できて楽しいです。
ゴーゴーカレーは店舗によるオリジナルメニューがあるところもありますが、ここは無さそうでした。

There is only one ticket vending machine at the entrance.
You cannot use electronic money.
Ordinary roasted curry is 800 yen.
It may be a little expensive, but you will be able to eat full.
It's fun to have various toppings.
Go Go Curry has an original menu depending on the store, but it didn't seem to be there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the top curry chains in Tokyo, and one of the good points is supposed to be how boiled down the curry is with all the veggies literally dissolved into the sauce. It tasted great but personally I like my curry to have a chunkier texture with pieces of veggie and meat I can actually sink my teeth into. This place is usually really busy so expect to wait unless you go during a non peak meal time. I passed by several times before I jumped in during a lull.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusting state of the store a rancid smell coming from the kitchen, the kitchen floor looks like a ever putrid swamp and the smell I could barely stomach my meal it was average for go go curry but I really wanted a refund after that smell I had to deal with
