V	Veneta Chirikov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent laundromat. Easy to use even for those not speaking Japanese. The other reviews are correct. You will need to prepare: 3x 10 yen for detergent 3x100 yen for 7kg washer 3x100 yen for the dryer for the 7kg washing Locals are very helpful and use the facilities too. Impressed and highly recommend.

There is a park nearby for kids and a plum wine bar walking distance from a place. On Saturdays there's a farmers market close by. Please correct the availability times, they are not open on Sundays
D	Daniel M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small laundry place. There are 4 washing machines, 2 for 5kg (200yen) and 2 for 7kg (300yen). There's 3 gas-dryers (100yen/10 minutes). There's also a washing detergent vendor (30yen/portion). You can sit down on a bench inside or on 2 stools outside and read the provided magazines. Only thing missing is a coin exchange machine. Disclaimer: prices may have changed since the review.
G	Gideon Brillantes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am staying at the Intercontinental: The Strings Hotel near the Shinagawa Station and, like the other guy, the hotel has an expensive laundry service. It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel to this location and it is as convenient and safe as everyone else mentions. No coin/change machines so make sure to bring your own change (I traded in 1000 yen at the hotel desk for 9x 100 yen and 10x 10 yen coins.) This worked out for 1 detergent (30 yen) 1 load in the 5 kg washer (200 yen) and another into the dryer (300 yen), for a total of 530 yen for the cleaning.
J	John Priddy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As others have said, 2 large washers, 2 small ones and 3 dryers. Washer is 300 yen and dryer is 100 yen for 10 mins. All the ones I used seem to work well. A largish load took 30 mins (mandatory where it locks) in the wash and 20 mins in the dryer. They also sell detergent. All machines take 100 yen coins only and there is no change machine -- though there is a drink and snack vending machine thing next door + a convince store/bodega around the corner.

Four washing machines - 2 smaller(200 Y), and 2 larger (300 Y) Three dryers (100 Y for 10 min) Detergent sold in small quantity at 30Y ( good for 1 or 2 loads). No change machine! So bring 100Y and 10Y coin I always meet nice people (local or tourist)!
J	Joseph Mayo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to find. Very helpful. Has 4 machines- 2 of 5 kg costs 200 yen, and 2 of 7 kg costs 300 yen. It takes 40 min for full laundering. There are also 3 drying machines, it costs 100 yen for 10 minutes of drying. Full laundry will need a 30 minuets of drying (so it sums for 300 yens for 1 laundry and another 300 yens for 30 minutes drying). The only problem of this place is that it has no coin machine, and machines take only 100 coins. If you have any problem with money, there are few grocery stores, there you can find an ATM. I changed a thousand yen bill to 100 coins without any problem, they were happy to help.
W	William Chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BRING 100 YEN COINs! Place doesn’t have a change machine. And bring 10 yen coins as well for laundry detergent. The detergent vending machine won’t take 100 yen coins. Hotel wants about 100 dollars to do a load of laundry and I politely declined. Fired up google maps and found this place which is about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Tiny tiny laundry but it got everything. 4 washing machines and 3 gas dryers. If you want the washing machine to self clean before you wash your load. First put in all the coins. Then press the shower button within 10 seconds and the machine will self clean for 30 seconds. After that you open the door again and put in your cloths. This is totally optional. Otherwise you just dump your cloth in it then detergent put in the coins and close the door, the machine will start automatically. Takes about 30 min to finish For the dryers, for each 100 yen is 10 min of drying time. I think 30 min is more than enough for a normal load. It is totally acceptable for you to take out other People’s load if there is a line waiting to use the dryer. Just make sure you put them in the baskets that are provided by the owner. Overall it’s a great place to get your laundry done. Bring your phone. There is nothing much around the place so just sit inside or out to wait.
