★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 木崎湖の西畔を往く千国街道は、湖面西端が東に向かってすぼまる辺りで２つに分岐します。本道は西側の尾根裾を往き、もうひとつは仁科神社とその南の民宿街のなかを通ります。
この民宿街は、鎌倉から室町時代にかけて森城の城下街でした。
山裾を往く本道は、昭和期の水田耕地整理にともなって屈曲と起伏がない農道に改造されました。
その道は南下して野球場と「しらかば保育園」の西脇を通って、稲荷神社の鎮守の杜とサワラの樹林を抜けてから、舗装道路に合流します。
そのあと、主要な道筋は国道148号に沿って大町市街に向かうようです。ただし、脇街道は八幡神社の東を通って集落のなかを屈曲して大町市街に向かうと見られます。
 The Senkoku Kaido, which goes to the west side of Lake Kisaki, branches into two at the west end of the lake surface, which narrows toward the east. The main road goes to the ridge hem on the west side, and the other passes through Nishina Shrine and the guest house district to the south.
This guest house was a castle town of Mori Castle from Kamakura to the Muromachi period.
The main road that goes to the foot of the mountain was remodeled into a farm road with no bends and undulations due to the consolidation of paddy fields in the Showa period.
The road goes south, passes through the baseball field and the west side of "Shirakaba Nursery School", passes through the forest of Inari Shrine's guardian forest and Spanish mackerel, and then joins the paved road.
After that, the main route seems to be along National Route 148 toward Omachi city. However, the Waki-kaido is expected to pass east of Hachiman Shrine and bend through the village toward Omachi city.
