★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 舘山寺の隣にある「火之神」をお祀りする神社です。御祭神は「火之加具土(ﾋﾉｶｸﾞﾂﾁ)」です。この神様は「伊邪那岐(ｲｻﾞﾅｷﾞ)」と「伊邪那美(ｲﾅｻﾞﾐ)」との間に生まれた神様で、生まれる時に「伊邪那美(ｲﾅｻﾞﾐ)」の陰部を焼けただれさせてしまい、その火傷がもとで「伊邪那美(ｲﾅｻﾞﾐ)」は死んでしまいました。「火之加具土(ﾋﾉｶｸﾞﾂﾁ)」は、怒った「伊邪那岐(ｲｻﾞﾅｷﾞ)」に首を跳ねられて殺されてしまいました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 舘山寺の西隣りにある神社で、静岡県神社八等級、旧村社という社格です。御祭神として、伊耶那美命（いざなみのみこと）と火の神である火之迦具土神（ひのかぐつちのかみ）、母子の神二柱を祀ります。
奈良時代初期、聖武天皇の御代であるの727年に創建と社歴は非常に長く、かつては堀江・庄内・内山ほか七ヶ村の総鎮守でした。なお、神社名にある「太刀山」は、西行法師の和歌にも詠まれています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道路の突き当たりに鳥居が目立つ，近づけば急階段両サイドに俳句の石碑が数多くあり，楽しませていただける。たどり着けばかなりこの神社も年期が経つているからあまり近づかないでとの文言の張り紙。思わず後退り，背後の崖も修復中、この法面もやばそう，神社の背後から穴太子を拝観と法面へ！天気崩れて退散。
