★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浜名湖に突き出した小高い半島の山頂に、見上げる様な観音像が祀ってあります。
お寺と山をじっくり観ても1時間程かと思いますが、徒歩範囲に遊園地とロープウェイで行くミュージアムがあり,自転車範囲に動物園とフラワーパークがあります。
さらにマイブームの鶯餅と豆大福、秋は餡子とシャインマスカットが絶妙な雫餅の和菓子屋さん、美味しい苺を堪能出来るスイーツ屋さん(十分ランチになるサイズのシュークリームは圧巻！)があります。
他にも見所がいっぱいあって1日では足りない楽しい所です。
 A Kannon statue that looks up is enshrined on the summit of a small peninsula that juts out into Lake Hamana.
It may take about an hour to take a closer look at the temples and mountains, but there is an amusement park and a museum that goes by ropeway within walking distance, and there is a zoo and a flower park within the bicycle range.
In addition, there are my boom uguisu mochi and soybean daifuku, a Japanese sweets shop with bean paste and Shine Muscat exquisite in autumn, and a sweets shop where you can enjoy delicious strawberries (the cream puff that is big enough for lunch is a masterpiece!).
There are many other attractions and it is a fun place where one day is not enough.

Beautiful place with scenic view on the top overlooking the Hamanako lake. The big image of Buddha on the top of the hill is really impressive.
A good place also for a little hiking with a picnic.
