★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food! Don't skip on Kenichi's mabo tofu. It's one of my few "wow..." moments. I had it at the Cerulean Tower restaurant and at one of the mabo tofu restaurants and they don't compare. Get to one of the regular restaurants. It blew me away. I was literally stunned by how good it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was disappointed in this place. We were staying at the cerulean hotel, in which the restaurant was located, and the service was no where near similar in quality. Could not take leftovers to the room, despite the fact room service is available for this restaurant. No server checks on us or even really greets us upon sitting down for dinner for at least 10 minutes. The restaurant wasn't even half full. The food was just ok. This place was my least favorite meal in the 8 days we stayed in Tokyo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whether staying at the Cerulean Tower Hotel or not, this Szechuan-style spot is a must. Every. Single. Thing. on the menu is absolutely delicious. My go-to items are the no-soup spicy noodles, the sweet/sour pork and the spicy beef/pork and tofu “Ma-bo-doufu” Staff is very attentive. There’s a bar for when you’re splashing out on your own. It is rather pricey, considering there are cheaper versions of the same menu all over the city...but this is a shrine to Chinese fine dining.
