明治通りと竹下通りが交わる交差点「竹下口」のすぐ近くにある中華料理屋さん「龍の子」。創業してまもなく45年という老舗だ。前々から来たいと思っていたが、なかなかチャンスがなく、この日通りかかったらオープン5分前にも関わらず3名ほどが並んでいたので、すっと後ろに。11時半のオープンと同時に一組ずつ店内に案内され、中程のソファーに着席。気づいたら結構並んでいたみたいで、オープン前の行列を1回転目では収容しきれていなかった。 ランチメニューは麻婆豆腐やバンバンジーなどに加えて、日替わりランチ、麺ランチなどなど。イチオシが麻婆豆腐だったのでそちらのランチセットを。+700円でスープを少担々麺にできる、、という魅力的な文字が目に入ったが、まずは麻婆豆腐に集中しようと、スタンダードなセットで。 最初にスープと大根の香の物が出てきて、メインの麻婆豆腐とライスが登場。ライスはお代わりもできますとのこと。さて、麻婆豆腐だ。深みのある赤茶色にたっぷりの木綿豆腐。四川料理ということで辛いのかと思いきや、思いのほかマイルド。麻と辣のバランスが良く、少し山椒が勝っているかな、ぐらいのイメージ。若干アツアツじゃなかったのが残念だが、非常に食べやすい麻婆豆腐だった。 ご飯と一緒に食べると箸ならぬスプーンが止まらない。お代わりはせずだったが、周りを見るとお代わり率は高かったかな。次は担々麺にも挑戦したい。
The Chinese restaurant "Ryuko" is located near the intersection "Takeshita Exit" where Meiji-dori and Takeshita-dori meet. It is a long-established store that has been in business for 45 years. I've always wanted to come, but I didn't have a chance, and when I passed by this day, there were about 3 people lined up even though it was 5 minutes before the opening, so I went straight behind. At the same time as the opening at 11:30, we were guided to the store one by one and sat on the sofa in the middle. When I noticed, it seemed that they were lined up quite a bit, and the line before the opening could not be accommodated in the first rotation. The lunch menu includes mapo tofu and bon bon chicken, as well as daily lunch and noodle lunch. My favorite was Mapo tofu, so I had a lunch set there. I noticed the fascinating character that you can make soup into noodles for +700 yen, but first of all, I tried to concentrate on mapo tofu with a standard set. First, soup and radish pickles came out, and then the main mapo tofu and rice appeared. Rice can be replaced. Well, it's Mapo tofu. Deep reddish brown with plenty of cotton tofu. I thought it was spicy because it was Sichuan food, but it was milder than I expected. The image is that the balance between hemp and 辣 is good, and Sansho is a little better. It's a pity that it wasn't hot, but it was very easy to eat mapo tofu. When I eat it with rice, the spoon, which is not chopsticks, does not stop. I didn't replace it, but when I looked around, the replacement rate was high. Next, I would like to try dandan noodles.

This is a small restaurant in the basement level. We were there for dinner time. Food was delicious, we got their famous mapo tofu and the japanese noodles in soy sauce. Portions are big enough to share between two persons. Staff is very nice.
