稲	稲岡慶郎 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「北越雪譜」の著者で江戸時代の文人で商人でもあった鈴木牧之の記念館。館内は「北越雪譜」の初版本も展示されている。多くは塩沢の雪国の生活や文化を知ることができる展示品が並ぶ。記念館の前には無料の駐車場があり、ここに車を停めて塩沢の町を散策できる。すぐ近くには鈴木牧之の生家やお墓もある。ちなみに鈴木牧之記念館の館内は撮影禁止。鈴木牧之は「北越雪譜」のなかで、塩沢は日本一雪が深く降る所と書いている。 2020年の1月に訪れた時には雪は全く無かった。この年は50年に一度あるかないかの記録的小雪であった。 A memorial hall for Bokushi Suzuki, the author of "Hokuetsu Seppu", a literary man and a merchant in the Edo period. By the way, photography is prohibited inside the Suzuki Makiyuki Memorial Hall. Bokushi Suzuki wrote in "Hokuetsu Seppu" that Shiozawa has the deepest snowfall in Japan. There was no snow when I visited in January 2020. This year was a record light snowfall once every 50 years.
