★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鈴鹿市を名乗る、市の中心部（神戸地区）にある駅ではあるが支線である為、近鉄名古屋線特急が停車するのは白子駅である。（白子も鈴鹿の中心部の1つではあるが所謂副都心的な位置）
支線への乗り換え駅は伊勢若松駅になるので特に名古屋方面からだと少々アクセスが面倒な駅である。
Although it is a station in the center of the city (Kobe district) that claims to be Suzuka City, it is a branch line, so the Kintetsu Nagoya Line Limited Express stops at Shiroko Station. (Shiroko is also one of the central areas of Suzuka, but a so-called subcenter location)
The transfer station to the branch line will be Ise Wakamatsu Station, so it is a little cumbersome access especially from Nagoya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この近鉄鈴鹿市駅と、伊勢鉄道線の鈴鹿駅を間違いやすいので、たまに道を聞かれますので要注意です。
2016年から駅ビルのコンビニ：Family Martが駅の改札業務を兼務するようになりましたが、たまに近鉄の職員さんが駅にいるのを見かけます。
This Kintetsu Suzuka-shi station and Suzuka station on the Ise Railway line are easy to mistake, so be careful as you will be asked about the road from time to time.
Since 2016, the convenience store of the station building: Family Mart has also started to work on the ticket gates of the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コンビニの店員さんが駅員代わりをしている珍しい駅です。待合室は上りホームのみ有ります。 駅構内にはトイレが無いので注意する必要が有ります、コンビニのトイレを利用して下さい。
It is a rare station where a convenience store clerk is doing station friend. We only have the upstairs waiting room. There is no toilet in the station premises, so you need to be careful, please use the convenience store's toilet.

初めて鈴鹿市駅に行くとなった時、市役所に近いし鈴鹿市って駅名だから栄えているのかなぁと思いましたが、ファミリーマートしかなかった。
夜だったので、明るいのがファミマだけで、それ以外暗くてなんだか寂しかったです。
急行停車駅の伊勢若松駅が起点なので、そこは便利かな？
併設しているファミマ店員さんが駅員も兼ねているという、変わった駅(ファミマ)です。
ファミマ店員が駅員も兼ねているのは、ここと近鉄名古屋線伏屋駅の2つのみです。
私が行った夜には駅員さんが改札にいたので、日中の閑散時は駅員がいないのかな？

When I first went to Suzuka City Station, I thought it was prosperous because it was close to the city hall and Suzuka City was the station name, but there was only FamilyMart.
It was night, so only FamilyMart was bright, and other than that, it was dark and somewhat lonely.
The starting point is Ise-Wakamatsu Station, which is an express stop, so is that convenient?
It is a strange station (Famima) where the Famima clerk who is annexed also doubles as a station clerk.
The FamilyMart clerk also serves as a station employee at only here and at Fushiya Station on the Kintetsu Nagoya Line.
The station staff was at the ticket gate the night I went, so I wonder if there are no station staff during the off-hours during the day.
