★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You expect quality and freshness when dining at Tsukiji market area, and this place doesn’t disappoint. Good service and a wide variety of sushi. My only qualm was that the rice was a bit hard for my liking. But that’s a personal preference. Also, it can get pricey, so be warned. Still, it’s worth a visit as the staffs speak decent English and service there is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first commercial Suhizanmai restaurant operated in Japan. Located in the heart of the Tsukiji Market which was once the largest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world. The sushi is surprisingly cheap, some tuna and salmon pieces cost ¥60. The food as expected was delicious and fresh. The chef recommended a fish soup with fish meatballs that was amazing. Make sure you stop here to eat fresh fish and take a photo with the infamous statue in the front.

(Came at ~2PM and waited for ~10 min to get into the counter. It was covid-time)
