J	Jon S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in late with my daughter and both had the omakase set. The chef was very welcoming and helpful, of course checking our preferences and for any allergies. You can choose the size/price for your omakase set, so really everything is customized. I started out speaking Japanese, but the chef's English is much better than my 日本語. I don't think I remember the order exactly, but our set included tamago (egg), chutoro (mid-fatty tuna), aji (horse mackerel), tai (red snapper), otoro (fatty tuna), suzuki (sea bass), sake (salmon), uni (sea urchin), saltwater eel, and otoro temaki, with miso and ocha to finish. We were lucky to be the only two customers there at the time, and enjoyed the descriptions of each fish and some conversation with the chef. It was a wonderful experience.

Really love the sushi and the place. Here is why: - Nicely located in more quiet area of Tsukiji - There are only like 9 seats, so you can see the chef preparing sushi closely - Great value, the breakfast set is very cheap - More importantly it's very tasty The added bonus, i met a Japanese couple who lives nearby and always visit the place, they highly recommended the restaurant. I definitely coming back again.

Although it is a small place we felt very welcomed. The staff was very nice, they even gave us different types of tuna slices, and since the place it is practically at the Tsukiji market all the fish they have is very fresh and delicious. Definitely a recommended spot to try out.
