★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really liked this place. I eat shellfish, but not really a fan or anything, but I'd come here again. The complementary miso soup (at least I think it's miso soup) they have here is different with small little clams in it and it's really good. They even have a grill in front of the store, if you just want to eat some oysters on the go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a big Saturday night out with Singaporean friends, working in Tokyo, at Kakigoya Oyster Bar,Oyster Cuisine,Charcoal Grill Dinner for 3500 yen per person. It is a few mintues walk from JR Shimbashi Station , Tokyo. We had lots of big oysters abalone, prawns, bottles of saki and other seafood thrown in by the owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled onto this gem. The service here is great, the waiter assisting us was very helpful and the store is wheelchair accessible. The toilet is at the 2nd floor but their staff will guide you to another toilet.
The food was great, we ordered a steamed (recommended) and BBQ oyster set along with raw oysters. The large sashimi oysters were fresh and juicy, they also provide you with 4 different sauces.
I'm not a fan of oysters or shellfish but this store exceeded my expectations. Would come again.
Must buy : Aburi-Toro-Shimesaba
The slight vinegar taste of the mackerel is simply delightful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok.... Get ready for the biggest, tastiest, full bodied oysters you'll ever have. This little quaint restaurant with a cool vibe accompanied by chill jazzy music is a delightful spot tucked in this famous fish market area. It's open past the normal market hours so you can still indulge in the local fresh seafood while tuna auctions are not occurring. Prices are a little on higher side but all worth it!
