K	Kevin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour was free and quite a nice tour. We booked 3 weeks ahead of time and we're able to obtain the engliah audio guide to accompany the tour. There's also a free beer tasting (3 total drinks) at the end of the tour.
A	Anthony Portelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-worth the time to get out here. If taking their shuttle bus from one of the train stations it services, make sure you get there early. The shuttle leaves exactly on time. Sadly, our JR train ran a minute late (almost unheard or for Japan) and we just missed the shuttle. We still had 30 minutes, so we spent 25 minutes walking there through residential streets. (If you're new to Japan, you might enjoy this. Alternatively, there'll be a taxi waiting at the station that won't cost much.) The Suntory Premium Malts was delicious. 3 big schooners of it in quick succession and you'll be enjoying the train trip back. Take the Hankyu train towards Osaka and if you're lucky, you'll run for a short period alongside a speedy Shinkansen on a section where both tracks come parallel and VERY CLOSE to each other for a good stretch of the way. Can't experience that with a light head anywhere else, I think.

The tour guide is very informative and helpful for English speakers. There are audio devices available to help those who do not understand Japanese. At the end of the tour you get to try 3 beers straight from the sourse.

Of course the reward for this tour is 20 minutes of trying the three main beers they have on tap. I had a great time (helps that my SO was able to translate) and will visit again if the chance presents itself.

z	zara k-tai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They offer free factory tours by reservation. As I am a big fan of The Premium Malts, it's been always a joy to visit there to appreciate the facts behind the beer. Two tours they offer but highly recommend the premium malts tour, at the end of the tour they give you three glasses of lager or ale, non alcohol drinks,too. Free shuttle bus to closest train stations so that you don't have to worry about driving back home. They intebtionally serve the foam of beer only to let you taste how thick and fruity it is. Calling it 'foam divine'. sampling roasted barley and smell the hops.
