M	Masaya Inoue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山崎の戦い際に明智光秀の本陣が置かれた御坊塚というのが以前は境野１号墳(サントリービール京都工場東側)と比定されていましたが、近年はこの恵解山古墳がその御坊塚に比定されています。現地に立ってみるとなるほど、戦場全体をよく見渡せますし、もし仮に戦況が不利になったとしても明智方の勝竜寺城はこのすぐ近くなので、最悪の場合逃げ込むことも可能。 (実際そうなったわけですが…) 「山崎宿のはずれで両軍円明寺川(現小泉川)を挟んで睨みあって〜」とのことなので現在古戦場跡の石碑のある天王山夢ほたる公園が激戦地だそうですが、あの辺りから境野１号墳は思った以上に目と鼻の先ですので、もし仮に戦線が崩れてしまえば勝竜寺城にたどり着く前に包囲殲滅されてしまう可能性もある。そう考えると恵解山古墳が本陣としては妥当であるかな、と現地に立ってみて思いました。 (とはいえ境野１号墳も他の明智方武将の陣地として利用されたかもしれませんが) 古墳公園としては当時の状態を復元してくれているすごくキレイな公園です。惜しむらくは後円部が墓地として利用され、肝心の石室も完全に破壊されて現存していないことですかね^^; The Gobozuka, where the headquarters of Mitsuhide Akechi was placed during the Battle of Yamazaki, was previously identified as the Sakaino No. 1 Mound (east side of Suntory Brewery Kyoto Factory), but in recent years this Igenoyama Tumulus has been designated as the Gobo. 朱	朱竹すずめ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 推定で全長約１８０mと乙訓地域で最大の前方後円墳です。大王の古墳が奈良から大阪へ移った５世紀前半の古墳でヤマト王権の生命線に当たる重要な場所ですので有力な首長が埋葬されていたのでしょう。戦国時代には山崎の合戦で三成の本陣が置かれたり、江戸時代には墓地だったりと古墳の主が埋葬された石室は失われていますが前方部からは多数の鉄製武器類の副葬品が出土していて埴輪などと共に長岡京市埋蔵文化財センターで一部が見ることが出来きました。現在は発掘調査から古墳らしい形に復元され遺跡公園となっていますが後円墳部のお墓は残っており公園とは垣根で区分され行き来は出来ません。 It is estimated to be about 180m long and is the largest keyhole-shaped tumulus in the Otokuni area.
