5世紀中から後半に築造されたとみられる、現状高さ6.5メートル　東西43メートル　南北48メートル。本来は一辺54メートルとみられる方墳のようです。埋葬施設は未調査の為、不明のようですが、複数の石棺を備えている可能性があるようです。墳丘に入れるようですが、古墳南側は会社敷地内で立入り出来ず、西側はJRの線路、東側（田、畑）から入るような感じだと思います。散策時は北側からアプローチ（JR線路沿い）しましたが、周壕らしきものが有りましたので、東側は沼地かもと警戒し、墳丘へのアプローチは断念、外観写真のみの撮影となりました。う〜ん、消化不良…次の冬にもう一度チャレンジかなぁ…　　　　　追記　つじの山古墳（五條市）と設計図が同じの双子古墳（ちょっと離れていますが）の可能性があるようです。

It is believed to have been built in the middle to the latter half of the 5th century, and is currently 6.5 meters high, 43 meters east-west and 48 meters north-south. It seems to be a burial mound that is originally thought to be 54 meters on a side. The burial facility has not been investigated, so it seems unknown, but it seems that it may have multiple sarcophagus. It seems that you can enter the mound, but the south side of the tumulus is not accessible on the company premises, and the west side is like entering from the JR railroad tracks and the east side (rice fields, fields). When I took a walk, I approached from the north side (along the JR railroad track), but there was something that looked like a moat, so I was wary that the east side might be a swamp, so I gave up approaching the mound and only took a photo of the exterior. Hmmm, indigestion ... I wonder if I'll try again next winter ... Addendum It seems that there is a possibility that the twin tumulus (although it is a little far away) has the same blueprint as the Tsuji Yamako tumulus (Gojo City).
