★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5世紀中頃に築造された、五條市では珍しい、墳丘長約31メートルの2段築成の小ぶりな前方後円墳です。後円部に竪穴式の2基の埋葬施設（盗掘されている）が確認されており、前方部には土坑が確認されているようです。武器主体の出土があったようです。墳丘は前方部を南に向けていて、ビューポイントは古墳東、南、西側で、後円部にあたる北側は非常に確認しにくい感じで、イノシシ除けの柵が周りを取り囲んでおり、墳丘へのアプローチは叶いませんでした。過去に周濠があったのかな？と感じられる古墳周りでした。
 Built in the middle of the 5th century, it is a small keyhole-shaped tumulus with a two-tiered structure with a mound length of about 31 meters, which is rare in Gojo City. Two pit-house burial facilities (robbed) have been confirmed in the rear circle, and a pit has been confirmed in the front. It seems that there was an excavation mainly for weapons. The front part of the mound is facing south, the viewpoints are on the east, south, and west sides of the tumulus, and the north side, which is the rear circle, is very difficult to see. The approach didn't come true. Was there a moat in the past? It was around the tumulus that I felt.
