★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toriko specializes in chicken dishes and is one of my go-to lunch spots whenever I’m in Tokyo. I have two favorite places when it comes to yakitori (chicken skewers) lunch deals and this is one of them (the other place that I like is Isehiro in Kyobashi).
I usually get the yakitorijyu when I come to Toriko for lunch, but make sure you get here early because they only have twenty per day. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t get one though because their other lunch sets are just as good. In fact I sometimes get the other lunch deals even if I am the first person to here because the other options are really good. The other two lunch items that I usually order are the soborojyu (minced chicken over rice) and their oyakodon (chicken and egg over rice). All of the lunch deals come with salad, pickled vegetables, miso soup and a vegetable side dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant that serves excellent meals at both lunch and dinner. Highly popular especially during office hours, expect to wait during lunch time on weekdays.
I recommend their Oyaku-don or Yakitori for lunch, and for dinner absolutely do not miss their chicken liver pate which has to be one of the best I have had the opportunity to sample in Japan.
Reservations a must for dinner, restaurant is non-smoking and accepts Japan Apple Pay for payments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Oyakodon spot in Roppongi with very reasonable prices for the lunch sets. Choose from 4 different kinds of Oyakodon or Yakitory lunch sets, plus one or two rotating specials for 1000-1200¥. Service is usually quick, and wait to get in during lunch hour is pretty fast (maybe 10-15 minutes).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious selection of traditional yakitori and more contemporary items. Food was excellent, as was the drinks selection, especially the sake! Made all the more welcoming with English menus. Thanks to the waiter who guided our selections and made the night so memorable. We will return. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are really friendly and the ambience of the restaurant is pretty cool too. I think they are trying to be a bit of a higher end yakitori restaurant here.
The food was great but it’s not going to blow your mind.
I would definitely go back again if I have friends visiting and want to take them to a laid-back yakitori restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oisho Desu! Nice jazzy vibe and tasty eats. Off menu, but had griller mochi. So good! If you don't eat gizzard, have it anyway. Chicken wings are flayed (cool), and MUST have Day Lily!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and sake were the best!! I never knew chicken can be sooo damn good!!! We were taken here by my Japanese friend. Absolutely the best Yakitori ever tasted.
But .... i was shocked to see the bill because i wasn’t prepared for it but all the kids loved the food and they actually ate as much as the adults!!
Im giving 1 less star just because they got my credit card transaction messed up but its VISA’s problem but basically it ruined my awesome sake vibe?
Should give it a try if you are in the area. Worth every penny spent!!!
