鉄門(くろがねもん)
ここにあった門は、
平成21年(2009)に安積(あづみ)家から 各務原市に 寄付され、東へ 車で 約15分、徒歩で 約1時間30分のところにある『鵜沼宿』に移築されています。
移築前は、
岐阜市の加納城の門か？と思われていたが、移築に伴う解体調査の結果、土台に墨書が発見された。
◎「四月十二日土台入れ」と書かれ、
江戸末期の大垣藩大工奉行ら１１人の名前が記載されており、門の鬼瓦には、大垣藩主・戸田家の紋「九曜紋」もあり、市は大垣城の鉄門だったと断定。
【大垣城 本丸の門】であったことが分かった。

大垣城 本丸の表口に建てられていたもので、
明治九年(1876)に払い下げられて、安積家（各務原市蘇原野口町）の自邸の門として使用され、地元では 通称『安積門(あづみもん)』と呼ばれていた。
高麗門と呼ばれる型式の門。
正面には短冊状の筋鉄(すじがね)が張られている。
このような種類の門を鉄門と呼ぶ。
大きさは、幅約5.6m、高さ約3.6m。
