★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山号を鷲生(じゅしょう)山と号する曹洞宗の寺院で、長享元(1487)年、舟子城主・下河渡邊義親(しもかわべよしちか)公の開基と云われています。開山は、虚叟英仲(こそうえいちゅう)大和尚で、当初舟子(現稲敷郡美浦村)に創立されましたが、永禄元(1558)年に八甲城二の丸外へ移り、慶長13(1608)年に現在地の於下へ移転されました。境内に駐車場あり、トイレもあります。
It is a temple of the Soto sect whose mountain name is Isao Washu, and is said to have been founded by Yoshichika Shimokawabe, the lord of Funako Castle, in 1487. Kaisan was originally founded in Funako (currently Miho-mura, Inashiki-gun) by Osho Yamato, but moved to the Marugai area of Hakko Castle in 1558 and was Keicho. It was relocated to the current location in 1608. There is a parking lot in the precincts and there is also a toilet.
