★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 麻生城に続き小高城に参りました。
小高城は行方宗幹の長男、為幹により築かれました。1591年、佐竹氏の南方三十三館の仕置きによって滅ぼされるまで、十数代に渡り小高氏を称しました。
現在、小高城そばに看板が立っている。車は1台位は停められるが、近くに「小高のかや」が植えられていて、そこに駐車場がありますのでそこを利用すると良いです。
看板から北東に進むとすぐ曲輪とおぼしき平地があります。そこから道なりに進むと深い堀を確認できます。さらに進むと小高城で最も広い曲輪にでます。
ここが本丸のようです。周りには土塁も確認できます。
この先にはマンダイと呼ばれる曲輪があるそうですが、藪に負けて今回は進めませんでした。
広い城域を有しているようです。
さすがに小高氏の居城だけあります。
小高城のそばに福岡観音というお社があるります。そこは城主を失い逃げてきた奥方や家臣たちが自害した場所だそうです。彼女たちを祀るためにたてられたそうです。
Following Aso Castle, I visited Kodaka Castle.
Kodaka Castle was built by Tamaki, the eldest son of Muneki. In 1591, he was named Odaka for more than a dozen generations until it was destroyed by the punishment of Satake's 33rd Southern Building.
Currently, there is a signboard near Odaka Castle. One car can be parked, but there is a parking lot nearby, so it's a good idea to use it.
As soon as you go northeast from the signboard, you will find a Kuruwa and a flat land. If you follow the road from there, you can see a deep moat. If you go further, you will reach the widest Kuruwa in Kodaka Castle.
This is like Honmaru. You can also see the earthworks around.
It seems that there is a Kuruwa called Mandai ahead, but I lost to the bush and could not proceed this time.
It seems to have a large castle area.
As expected, there is only Mr. Odaka's residence.
There is a company called Fukuoka Kannon near Kodaka Castle. It is said that this is the place where the wives and vassals who lost the castle owner and fled have committed suicide. It seems that it was built to worship them.
