は	はらこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 再建されている大書院が立派です。城跡なので特に大きな建物はありませんが、景色は素晴らしいです。城下町も雰囲気があり、グルメがおいしくてお散歩がはかどります。 The reconstructed Daishoin is magnificent. There are no big buildings because it is a castle ruin, but the scenery is wonderful. The castle town also has an atmosphere, and the gourmet food is delicious, so you can take a walk.

T	Teke Teke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 令和4年3月12日（土）、今日はね、丹波篠山の猪鍋をいただいた後の散歩に篠山城跡にやってきました。広々とした城跡には石のプレートが足元に貼り付けられていて当時の待合所や台所など、あ〜っここが侍さん達が役所の様につめていた場所なのか～なんて思いながら歩いて天守閣跡まで行ってみました。風も微風で気持ちの良い天気でしたので、本当に良かったです。是非、立ち寄って当時のお城を思い浮かべながら三密回避の散歩をしてみて下さい。…中々、良かったです♪ あっ、ひな人形はソフトクリームを売っている所の写真です♪(｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡ Saturday, March 12, 4th year of Reiwa, Today, I came to the site of Sasayama Castle for a walk after having a boar pot from Tamba Sasayama. A stone plate was attached to the foot of the spacious castle ruins, and I was wondering if this was the place where the samurai were packed like a government office, such as the waiting area and kitchen at that time. I went to the ruins of the castle tower. The wind was a breeze and the weather was pleasant, so it was really good. Please stop by and take a walk to avoid the Three Cs while thinking of the castle at that time. … It was good ♪ Ah, the Hina doll is a picture of a place selling soft serve ice cream ♪ (. ・ Ω ・.) ﾉ ♡

The video presentation was also helpful to understand how and why the castle was built. I recommend to anyone visiting the area to walk the entire outer moat and visit the shops along the way.

R	Ross Hall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it doesn't have the grand, reconstructed keeps of Osaka or Himeji, Sasayama has its own charm. The low lying town gives a sense of the dominance of the castle, with some exceptional views out towards the surrounding mountains. Worth a stop-over if you're passing through.
S	Shivakshi Sulekh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no castle here, but the site is amazing, the view from the top is mesmerising and you can see where all the rooms were built inside the castle and on a good weather day you can walk around the park and enjoy good views. Everything is a walking distance and many restaurants around just everything closes at 5:30pm which was inconvenient but may be it’s because of corona.
