★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 数年ぶりに道の駅から行ってみたら道が色付きコンクリート(?)で整備され歩きやすくなってました。(雰囲気は↓)
来た道と逆から下りると案内板はないですが山道になり最終的には入口近くに出ました。

When I went down from the opposite side of the road I came to, there was no information board, but it became a mountain road and finally I came out near the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅から徒歩2分ほどで到着しました。
城跡近くに第2駐車場があります。
城跡はかなりの面積ですが草刈り、清掃が大変行き届いて気持ちよく見学できます。
野城跡なので建物、石垣は一切ありませんが、本丸、二の丸跡や土を盛った土塁、壕などの遺構がしっかり判別でき、野城の構造がわかります。
本丸跡からは町を一望できます。

You can overlook the town from the remains of Honmaru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静かな場所で、城跡には基本誰もいない。ちょっと古めのナビで車で行くと、裏側に案内されて立ち入り禁止にぶち当たります。隣の道の駅から舗装された道を登ると城跡に行けます。石碑や立札で分かりやすくなっています。亀山由来記も分かりやすかったです。
It's a quiet place, and there is basically no one in the ruins of the castle. If you drive with a slightly old navigation system, you will be guided to the back side and you will be off limits. You can reach the ruins of the castle by climbing the paved road from the next roadside station. It is easy to understand with stone monuments and bills. The description from Kameyama was also easy to understand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 道の駅の裏手から歩いて直ぐに登れます。それほど大規模な城域ではないですが、空堀や郭などリアルに地形が残っていますのて初めての方にも分かりやすいです。本丸からは眺めも良いです。

亀山城はほぼ高原の中心に位置し、
奥平氏の居城として築かれた歴史があるものの、
復元の仕方は実に凡庸。
戦国時代の城の肝は、
堀と土塁であると言い切っていいほどですが、
そこをきちんと整備しないため、
宝の持ち腐れのようになっています。
公園化してあるのはいいと思いますが、
本丸まで上がってくる家族連れは皆無。
例えれば、鯛がまな板の上で
放置されているといった感じですね。
すぐ近くの古宮城といい、
もったいないことこの上もない。
