た	たまたま誠 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もみじ、かえで3000本に惹かれて行ってきましたが…本堂側のもみじがイマイチで。。本堂と福寿院で800円そして駐車場500円高いなぁ。。。いちょうともみじのところが1番綺麗でした上からの景色はいいけどお金払って登るまでは… 紅葉ポイントがそこまでなかったのでもう来ることはないと思います近くに日本清酒の発祥の地がありました福寿院で日本酒が買えます福寿院からの庭が写真が撮れないのでおすすめできません… 綺麗に撮れた所だけ載せておきます I was attracted to the maple leaves and 3000 maples, but the maple leaves on the main hall side are not good enough. .. 800 yen for the main hall and Fukujuin and 500 yen for the parking lot. .. .. 古	古だぬき on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い境内に紅葉と銀杏がたくさん植えられていて見応えがある。本堂と福寿院の中は、静謐な雰囲気を壊さないために写真撮影禁止。清酒発祥地としても有名。 A lot of autumn leaves and ginkgo trees are planted in the large precincts and it is spectacular. Photography is prohibited inside the main hall and Fukujuin in order not to destroy the quiet atmosphere. It is also famous as the birthplace of sake.

Bodaisen had been a major holy city on which many temples were built in Heian period. Almost temples on Bodaisen were destroyed by Heike Nanto Yakiuchi fire. But Shouryakuji barely remained and has continued until now. We can enjoy a beautiful space and slow time in nature. When planning a Nara trip, why not try to visit Shouryakuji?

There are many tracks getting you to-and-from the site but, if hiking or cycling isn't your preferred mode, you can always drive here or take the bus.Autumn ( October to December) is the best time as the colors are awesome.
