★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 茂木の市街地の小田川に、城跡の公園があります。結構坂がきつく、さすがは軍事拠点です。江戸の初期の国替えで城主が変わったのを機に廃城になったとのこと（麓の陣屋に移ったらしいです）。茂木の街を見渡せるはずの高地ですが、木によって結構視界が遮れてます。駐車場とトイレあり。
There is a castle ruin park on the Oda River in the city of Motegi. The slope is quite steep, and it is truly a military base. It is said that the castle was abandoned when the owner of the castle changed due to the change of country in the early days of Edo (it seems that it moved to the camp at the foot of the castle). It is a highland that should overlook the city of Motegi, but the view is quite obstructed by the trees. There is a parking lot and a toilet.

春はロウバイと?秋は赤、白、黄色の３色の曼珠沙華が有名です。
I saw the Japanese allspice of Shiroyama Park (the site of Motegi Castle ?) in Motegi Town. The sweet scent was very nice ✌️
In the spring, Japanese allspice and ? are famous for the three colors of red, white, and yellow.

天気が良くて見晴らしが良かった
姫の何とかってのにのぼったらちょうどSLが走ってきて素敵でした

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 彼岸花の名所と聞いて行ってみました。
9月下旬、ピークは少し過ぎていましたが十分見応えがありました！想像以上に彼岸花の数が多かった♪
これを管理するのは大変な労力がかかると思います。
有り難いことです。
9/19〜28が彼岸花ウィークとのことで、混雑回避の為に遊歩道を一方通行にしたり、手作り感あふれる案内図を作って観光客に渡すなど、そういう気配りもいいなと思います。
協力金？最初は300円だったようですが、自分が訪問した日は100円でした。花のピークが過ぎていたからでしょうかね?？
公園内の駐車場には行けないようになっていて、街中に広い臨時?が設けられています。?は無料です。

桜がほぼ満開でとても綺麗でした。
公園まで山ですが車で上がれます。
急な坂道で少々道幅も狭くヘアピンカーブが急ですが本丸跡のすぐ下にある駐車場まで行けるので足腰に自信がない自分でも散策する事が出来ました。
