ぴ	ぴこままこぴ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年12月初訪問。 JR西日本の破格きっぷ「関西どこでもきっぷ」での攻略。さすが関西の奥座敷、白浜温泉の玄関口！休日、くろしおが到着するとドッと人が降りてきます。駅前もバスが頻繁に発車し、タクシーも多く、観光地の駅としての貫禄は十分です。きのくに線の旅客数もこの駅を境に南北でずいぶん変わるのが体感できます。駅構内はパンダだらけで381系くろしおで使われていたパンダの座席も置いてあり、人気撮影スポットになっています。パンダのパワー恐るべし。 First visit in December 2021. は	はやぶささくら on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨年の暮れ、白浜に行った際に久しぶりに283系オーシャンアロー編成くろしおに乗りました。きのくに特急も減便や沿線の過疎化が進み、味気なくなりましたが、このオーシャンアロー編成はさすがに高度経済成長期の名残りの頃に設計された豪華なリゾート特急として、なかなかの贅沢設備ですね。パノラマ型グリーン車の他、3号車にはラウンジが設けられ、海側を向いて座りながら太平洋の流れる雄大な景色を楽しめます。今や｢オーシャンアロー｣というブランドも車両名にとどまり、車体のオーシャンアローのロゴも消えてしまってますが、かつては京都～新宮を4時間で結んだ振り子式特急で、紀州路を高速で駆け抜けましたね。海沿いを走る際には雄大な美景を足元にまで拡がるワイドな窓から見渡せる魅力を誇ります。海は広いな～大きいな～♪ At the end of last year, when I went to Shirahama, I rode the 283 series Ocean Arrow formation Kuroshio for the first time in a while.
