C	Clio “Yumeki” Marotta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous shrine. Actually you can visit 2 shrines from this place and enjoy a view of the bay from the top. The shrine is not far from the station, around 15min.

Come here in Spring and you may get to see the Shrine Maidens dance and women in heavy make-up and even heavier kimonos trying to sit through their own wedding rituals and/or photography sessions.
r	rain suria on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a place to go n enjoy the multitude of different Cherry Blossoms ... Its a good trek up the hill and u can soak in the atmosphere. I came on a wet morning after the rain... so it was really cold up there, in spring. But when the sun came out... I was not disappointed at the least. There is a small museum showcasing the sword offerings to the temple n the history of the town life. I was a bit awed of the whale skull displayed at the front entrance of the museum?...For the elderly n disabled ..pls take a taxi from Hon Shiogama Station to the top of the hill.

Do yourself a favour and plan your trip during spring so that you can see the cherry blossoms in full bloom. We were lucky to see some late snow which added even more beauty to the experience. Take the time to walk the long steps and take in the natural serenity of the gardens and surrounds.
O	Osama Eleskandarany on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're going there by car in winter time, make sure to fit car with winter tires, parking area sometimes gets full and you have to park uphill and to go there it's narrow slippery uphill road covered with snow and ice. If you don't have experience to handle such road, don't challenge it there.
M	Manjit Grewal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, Peaceful, Serene, Magnificent Shinto Shrine ! -40 min drive from Sendai Station (a lot of places to stop by on the way to shrine). -Parking available but google navigation can be a bit misleading for parking spot, so please navigate and be careful. -Beautiful view of bay from the shrine. -Entrance is free and shrine is open everyday. -About 200 steps to the main compound! -Coffee Cafe outside the shrine! I visited here on 3rd May 2021 during my Golden Week Holidays! If you want to collect stamp book (Gosyuin), please say "Gosyuin Kudasai". I got mine here! I went again on 11 Dec 2021! Stay Safe and happy, Wish you a Happy Visit! -Love Happy
