★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 直ぐ近くに名刹の「塩船観音寺」が有りますので勘違いされてしまう寺院です。
現在は真言宗豊山派(塩船観音は真言宗醍醐派)ですが寺伝によるとかつては塩船観音寺の関連寺であったようです。今は周辺は住宅街となっており、残っている寺院は塩船寺だけです。
境内はひっそりとしていて見学出来る所は皆無です。しかし裏手の高台に位置している眺めの良い墓地の分譲に力を入れているようです。
It is a temple that is misunderstood because there is the famous “Shiofune Kannonji” nearby.
Currently, it is the Shingon Buddhist Toyoyama school (Shion Kannon is the Shingon Buddhist school), but according to the temple, it used to be a related temple of Shiofune Kannon Temple. The surrounding area is now a residential area, and the only remaining temple is Shiofune Temple.
The precincts are quiet and there are no places to visit. However, it seems that they are focusing on the sale of a cemetery with a good view located on the hill behind.
