店舗類が一切無いのが残念。
ピクニックがてら、食事持参がオススメです。
道程は舗装されてますが、細い道が多いのでご安全に〜。
 If the weather is nice, you can see the sea and it is a superb view.
It is a pity that there are no stores.
If you have a picnic, we recommend that you bring your own meals.
The road is paved, but there are many narrow roads, so be safe.

コロナでの大槌新山ヒルクライム中止のリベンジで、折角なのでいつもと違い遠野林道側から。いつも春だったけど秋も良かったです。
2020. autumn.
It was a revenge to cancel the sledgehammer Shinzan hill climb in Corona, so it was a good time, so unlike usual, from the Tono forest road side. It was always spring, but autumn was also good.

途中の道で熊2匹と遭遇もあり、自然いっぱい注意して下さい。
The weather was nice and I could see the sea.
You may encounter two bears on the way, so please be careful about nature.

なだらかな牧草地が辺り一面に広がり、日本で最大級の風力発電が立ち並び、海まで見渡せる。
展望台には無料で覗ける双眼鏡も設置されており、海から上る朝日も、山へ沈み行く夕陽も、とてつもない感動を与えてくれる。
周囲には白樺林が立ち並び、山の中腹は新緑や紅葉が美しい広葉樹林が目に飛び込む。
ゆっくりとドライブしにいき、大自然を体感して欲しい。
An unobstructed scenic spot with an altitude of 1000 meters.
A gentle pasture spreads all around, and one of Japan's largest wind power generation stands side by side, overlooking the sea.
Binoculars that can be viewed free of charge are also installed on the observatory, which gives a tremendous excitement to the sunrise over the sea and the setting sun over the mountains.
Surrounded by white birch forests, you can see a broad-leaved forest with beautiful greenery and autumn colors on the mountainside.
I want you to drive slowly and experience the great outdoors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 風が吹いていると、風力発電の風車が列をなして回っていて圧巻です。
さすがに風車が建つ場所だけあって、立っていられないくらい風が強い時もあります。
大槌側から上がるとくねくね道で狭いです。
遠野側の方が道路は楽だと思います。
When the wind is blowing, the windmills of wind power generation are spinning in a row, which is a masterpiece.
As expected, there are only places where windmills are built, and there are times when the wind is so strong that you cannot stand.
When you go up from the Otsuchi side, it is a winding road and narrow.
I think the road is easier on the Tono side.

If it is sunny, you can see Otsuchi Bay and Mt. Hayachine, and it is spectacular to see the windmills lined up.
