Shinmachikonpira Shrine - Maizuru

The main shrine where Kompira-jin is enshrined, Inari-jin as the precincts shrine on the lower left, and Zuishinyama Benzaiten and Otoshijima Daimeijin on the right (according to the biane on the shrine). Oitoima Shrine is a god enshrined on Kanmurijima. What about Benzaiten? According to the information board of "Maizuru Hyakukei", it is "Enoshima Benzaiten". Is "Enoshima Benzaiten" "Zuishinzan"? I wonder if Enoshima would bother to solicit Maizuru.

It was believed that Kotohira-san's money would come down and help him at the very moment when the ship sank due to the storm. Many names of the people of Yoshihara Town are engraved on the name of the donor of Tamagaki on this Kompira God, and it can be seen that the fishermen's progress was strong. There are many inns in Shinmachi and Nishimachi, which are on the street corner, and it was called Hatago Town. Especially in Shinmachi, there were 11 large inns lined up, and Kotohira-san was enshrined throughout the town, hoping for a safe trip and prosperous business. The current shrine was rebuilt in 1958 after the shrine was destroyed by the collapse of the mountain in 1897.
