n	nb 123 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 堀川通りの東側、西洞院通りにある小料理屋。「舌の味」と入った店名にはちょっと引くが、味は確かに良かった。焼き魚の焼き具合も絶妙。いろいろ試したくなる。価格もリーズナブルというか、京都のお高い価格に慣らされた身としてはお得感があった。堀川通りの西本願寺界隈から五条通りにかけては閑静な環境で、お世辞にも賑やかとは言えない。しかも夜になると西洞院通りのこの付近は人通りも少なく暗い。そんな中、「ふくざわ」と書かれた白い暖簾が目立った。（市営バス50番西洞院六条バス停下車すぐ） A small restaurant on Nishitoin-dori Street on the east side of Horikawa Street. A	A24 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都に宿泊した際に周辺検索で探して訪問。ノンアポだったのでウォークインで入れるか不安だったけど大丈夫でした。家庭的な雰囲気な店内。刺身と天麩羅、揚げ出し豆腐等酒の肴でチョイス。刺身はプリプリだし、天麩羅はサクサク(海老が大きかった！)、豆腐は絶品(さすが京都)。写真撮るの忘れたけど焼きおにぎりも美味かった。美味しく楽しくいただきました。また京都に行った際は寄ってみたい。 When I stayed in Kyoto, I searched around and visited. Since it was non-appointment, I was worried whether I could enter by walk-in, but it was okay. The interior of the store has a homely atmosphere. Choose from sashimi, tempura, fried tofu, and other sake dishes. The sashimi is pre-prepared, the tempura is crispy (the shrimp was big!), And the tofu is excellent (as expected in Kyoto). I forgot to take a picture, but the grilled rice balls were also delicious. It was delicious and fun. I would like to stop by when I go to Kyoto again.

M	Mickey Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for dinner and it was phenomenal. I would recommend sitting at the bar and ordering one of the set menus (No. 1 & 2 on the menu) for the full experience. They have an English menu with pictures for those who don't understand Japanese. The sashimi was extremely fresh; especially the toro. Tempura was fried to perfection. There was a good variety including pumpkin, ebi, squid, fish and eggplant. The main was a grilled fish with rice. The fish was very crispy and flavorful. Hands down one of the best meals I've had in Japan, let alone Kyoto. This is the absolute definition of a hole in the wall restaurant. It's difficult to even see on Google maps unless you zoom in considerably. We had a great conversation with the chef and his wife despite my lack of Japanese and their limited English. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here. I will definitely come back to eat here again the next time I'm in Kyoto.
