み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 下古内の清山寺に，毎日どこからともなくお赤飯を持ってきては御本尊にお供えする顔立ちの整った小僧がいました。小僧は誰とも口を聞かなかったので，回りからは変わり者だと思われていました。そんなある日，近くの龍潭渕で大きなウナギが釣り上げられ，腹を割いたところ，大量の赤飯が目いっぱい詰まっていたのです。これは渕の主かも知れぬと人々はウナギを渕の側に葬ったのですが，それ以来，小僧の姿は消えてしまったのです。ここに至って，邑人達は小僧がウナギの化身だったのだと悟り，ウナギを葬った場所に地蔵を置いて供養したそうです。 At Kiyoyama-ji Temple in Shimofuruuchi, there was a well-faced kid who brought red rice from nowhere every day and offered it to the principal idol. The kid didn't talk to anyone, so he was considered strange by the people around him. One day, a big eel was caught in the nearby Ryutanbuchi, and when I broke my stomach, a large amount of red rice was full. People buried the eels on the side of Fuchi, thinking that this might be the lord of Fuchi, but since then the kid has disappeared. At this point, the eups realized that the kid was an incarnation of an eel, and put a Jizo in the place where the eel was buried.
J	Jハードラー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この地域に伝わる民話。むかしむかし、城北町の下古内しもふるうちに臨済宗の清音寺せいおんじというお寺がありました。この大きなお寺には数十人の小僧がいて、その中に、特に美しい顔立ちをした小僧がいました。小僧は、日々のおつとめは熱心にするのですが、だれとも口を聞きません。そして不思議なことに、毎日どこからかお赤飯を持ってきて、ご本尊の観音様にお供えをするのでした。ある日、村に領主が家来たちを連れてきて藤井川で釣りをしました。すると、まもなく領主の竿に驚くほど強い引き。家来たちと一緒に釣り上げると、それは３ｍにもなる大きなうなぎでした。これには領主も村の者も大喜び。早速料理をしようとお腹に包丁を立てました。すると、どうでしょう。お腹の中にはたくさんのお赤飯が詰まっていました。「これは藤井川の主ではないか」人々は心配になり、うなぎを食べることなく川の岸へねんごろに葬りました。その出来事のあと、清音寺でお赤飯をお供えしていた小僧の姿も見えなくなりました。「あの小僧は主の化身だった」だれもがそう思い、主の冥福を祈って、埋葬した場所に地蔵を立てました。それがいまのうなぎ地蔵です。 A folk tale that is handed down in this area. Once upon a time, there was a temple called Seionji Seionji of the Rinzai sect in Shimofuruuchi, Jokita-cho. There were dozens of little boys in this big temple, among them the ones with particularly beautiful faces. The little boy is enthusiastic about his daily servants, but no one listens. And strangely, I brought red rice from somewhere every day and offered it to Kannon, the principal idol. One day, the lord brought his servants to the village and fished in the Fujii River. Soon after, a surprisingly strong pull was made to the lord's rod. When I caught it with my servants, it was a big eel that was 3m long. Both the lord and the villagers are delighted with this. I put up a kitchen knife on my stomach to cook. Then how about? There was a lot of red rice in my stomach. "Isn't this the lord of the Fujii River?" People were worried and buried around the banks of the river without eating eels. After that event, the little boy who was offering red rice at Seionji Temple disappeared. "That little boy was an incarnation of the Lord," everyone thought, and prayed for the Lord's soul and set up a Jizo in the place where he was buried. That is the current eel Jizo.
