此の駅前から国道２５６号線経由濃飛バスの白川口駅から佐見への路線バスは数本運行されているが加子母や中津川には繋がっていない。
A quiet unmanned station in the northernmost part of Mino Province on the Takayama Main Line.
There are several fixed-route buses from Shirakawaguchi Station to Sami on the Nohi Bus via National Route 256 from this station, but they are not connected to Kashimo or Nakatsugawa.

When heading from Mino Ota to Gero, it will stop at this station for about 12 minutes. That's why the station is impressive even if you don't like it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020.8.15訪問。対向列車待ちの間に途中下車。無人駅で、券売機なし、駅ノートもなし。周りには、人家がいくつかある程度で、自然に囲まれている他、ほとんど何もない。駅前の道は、車通りがほとんどないが、国道である。
Visited 2020.8.15. Get off while waiting for the oncoming train. At an unmanned station, there is no ticket vending machine and no station notes. There are some houses around, surrounded by nature, and almost nothing. The road in front of the station is a national highway, although there are few roads.
