その先には、舗装されていない通路があり、19:30頃には真っ暗闇に…。
ダムは壮観で、眺めも良し。
肝試しには最適かも。
In the back of Shiyoshita Park is a mysterious monument called “Venus” made by Tsutomu Nagauchi in 1992.
Beyond that, there is an unpaved aisle, and it will be in darkness around 19:30.
The dam is spectacular and the view is good.
It may be the best for a liver test.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ なかなか風光明媚な所でこじんまりとしていますが野球場っぽい広場もあり、たまにソフトボールの試合なんかもしています。春の桜はもちろん、冬の雪景色もキレイです。ご近所の方の犬の散歩やジョギングコースになっています。
It's a pretty scenic place, but there is a square like a baseball field, and sometimes softball games. Not only spring cherry blossoms but also winter snow scenery are beautiful. It is a walking and jogging course for dogs in the neighborhood.

天端を歩くことができ、そこからダム湖と岩手山を一望すると気分が良い。
県立博物館につながる散策道があり、自然を満喫できます。
夏の夜は虫がいっぱいです。
It is a dam on the Kitakami River completed in October 1968.
You can walk to the top, and it feels good to see the dam lake and Mt. Iwate from there.
There is a walking path leading to the Prefectural Museum, where you can enjoy nature.
Summer nights are full of bugs.
