m	morimorimori0101 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 入場料は310円。2階の総合展示室では岩手の地質時代から現在までの歩み、1階は自然史展示室となっており、化石や鉱物、鳥の剥製、東日本大震災での被災文化財などが見学出来る。 2階での広い空間を利用した展示の仕方が素晴らしく、国宝品や岩手特産の南部鉄器、縄文人の足跡などが統一された色彩の中で効果的に展示されている。控えめの照明で展示物を照らしていた2階に対して、1階は普通の照明が展示物を照らしている。ガラスケースなどの什器が寄せ集めの物なのか、場面によってはややちぐはぐな印象を受けてしまう箇所がある。空白の部分も目立つ為、ハエトリグモやホタルの巨大模型などせっかく面白い素材があるのに活かし切れていないのが、勿体無いところ。2階にある鷲の躍動感溢れる剥製を見た後だからこそ、余計にそう感じてしまう。とは言え、トータル面で見れば展示物と情報量は相当なもの。時間に余裕を持った状態で訪れるのがベストです。 Admission is 310 yen. The general exhibition room on the 2nd floor is a history from the geological era of Iwate to the present, and the 1st floor is a natural history exhibition room where you can see fossils, minerals, exfoliation of birds, and cultural properties damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The way of exhibition using the large space on the second floor is wonderful, and national treasures, Nanbu Tekki, which is a specialty of Iwate, and the footprints of Jomon people are effectively exhibited in a unified color. Normal lighting illuminates the exhibits on the first floor, as opposed to the second floor, which used to illuminate the exhibits with modest lighting. Perhaps the fixtures such as glass cases are a collection of things, and depending on the scene, there are places where I get the impression that they are a little sloppy. The blank areas are also conspicuous, so it's a shame that even though there are interesting materials such as jumping spiders and giant firefly models, they haven't been fully utilized. After seeing the stuffed eagle on the second floor, which is full of dynamism, I feel that way. However, from a total perspective, the exhibits and the amount of information are considerable. It is best to visit with plenty of time.

関	関清志 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年11月23日に企画展を見学しました。先史時代の遺跡数が国内でも多い岩手県だけあって、展示物の質・量共に圧倒される内容でした。特に古墳寒冷期前後の赤穴式土器から後北式土器に遷り変わる説明が、北海道からの移民と絡めて解明していて、大変分かりやすいものでした。同じに岩手県内でもヤマセの影響を受ける北部と、余り影響を受けない南部では、稲作の継続にも相違が有ったことを展示で理解できました。東北地方のアイヌ語地名が、北海道からの移民による影響だと分かり、なる程と思わされることばかりでした。 I visited the exhibition on November 23, 2021. お	おがちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地元に居ながらにして初めて訪れました。おそらく博物館が設立されて以来、数十年立つかと思います。このところ地元の歴史や文化に興味が湧き、小息子の興味も相まって入館しました。高校生以下無料、以上は310円で入館出来ます。駐車場は館内入口前左側にあり無料駐車になります。なお、右側を進んでも行く先駐車場があります。皆様の写真投稿通り、建物敷地含め中々のデカさです。館内はBFありの2Fまで。今回は盛岡城の歴史を知りたく大変勉強になりました。2Fには、ひだまりという喫茶店があります。お昼時ともありせっかくなので利用しました。メニューは、写真を拝見いただければと思います。普通に食事が出来ます。何しろここからの眺めがよく、岩手山を見ながら食事することが出来ました。晴れていればもっと良かったのでしょう！BFにてキッツ向けアニメ3本フルに見たこともあり、館内に4時間以上も滞在しました。小息子にとっても勉強になり、最後、売店で鉱石2種類購入してきました。ここで販売している鉱石は、他よりも安い価格設定でした。今後はイベント開催などに注目し再訪問したいと思います。 I visited for the first time while staying in my hometown.
