★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my second vacation in Japan and after discovering Katsuya two years ago I had to go back. They have a variety of Katsudon meals and ordering your meal ticket from the machine is easy for foreigners like me because it has an option to set it to English. My food was prepared quickly and it was delicious, just like I remembered. See you again in two years, Katsuya. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vending machine ordering system, picture menu on machine. Very friendly staff. Food comes quick. No nonsense good eating tonkatsu, served with rice and a mound of shredded cabbage. Most dishes come in various sizes. Have other items on menu. Refreshing cold green tea served instead of water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely THE BEST curry katsu I've had in my life! The vending machine was a first as a first time tourist, but it was very convenient. The food was fresh and delicious. This curry katsu is the standard I hold for any curry katsu, and I'm disappointed every time because it is not the same as Katsuya's.
I miss this restaurant so much, and will definitely return the next time I am in Japan.
