★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鰻好きが行く店かと聞かれたら、そうではない。元々、この辺りは猥雑な飲み屋と風俗店が軒を並べていたところで、肉体労働者の酒のアテに串焼きを出していたような店で、食事をしにくる客なんて少数派の店だ。それだけにリーズナブルではあるものの、鰻屋としての質はまぁまぁ程度のものだ。
しかしながら、同店名で吉祥寺でやっている鰻屋はベチャベチャに蒸された鰻をガスで炙って食わせるそれとは一線を画す。
しっかり炭火で焼いてい、うなぎは細い養殖物だがそれなりだ。

普通に食べるには十分美味い
 When asked if an eel lover goes to this restaurant, it's not. Originally, this area was lined with obscene bars and sex shops, and it was like a shop where skewers were served for the sake of a manual worker, and the number of customers who came to eat was a minority. Although it is reasonably priced, the quality of the eel shop is fair.
However, the eel shop in Kichijoji under the same name is different from the one in which steamed eel is roasted with gas and eaten.
It's grilled well over charcoal, and the eel is a thin aquaculture, but it's reasonable.
Three stars in the middle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we were asking for a table for 3, the waiter told us that they only serve unagi rice, one order per person. But they do sell unagi skewers so we asked why we are not allowed to order that. He told us if we want to order skewers we also have to order 3 unagi rice first. What rules is that? How can 3 person finish 3 rice plus unagi skewers? Ridiculous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious unagi-don with fresh Sansho pepper that stimulates all your budtastes! The food couldn't be better. Even the simple soup and spinach salad also come with unagi! That's impressive. It's not cheap but the food is worth it. My only big complaint would be the cigarette smoke. The shop is small. So, when customers are allowed to smoke as they please inside, it gets rather suffocating.
