From this station to Shimonita Station, the scenery is good and it is the largest sightseeing section of Kamishinden Railway. There is a signal station on the way. The train goes slowly.

An unmanned station that opened in 1884. The atmosphere like a mountain station is a little different from other stations of Joshin Dentetsu, which are mostly on flat ground. The superb view of the bridge is just around the corner.
