通称「千代山」として知られる２２６ｍ峰です静岡市都市部のハイキングコースとしては・谷津山ハイキングコース・賤機山縦走ハイキングコース（静岡市「みどりの道」の１つ）・徳願寺ハイキングコースなどが有名ですが，ここ「千代山」から「安倍城址」までの縦走路も都市部に近いハイキングコースとみなしていいのかもしれませんただし先に掲げたハイキングコースは，静岡市や市岳連が標識や案内板などを備え，整備しているのに対して，「千代山」から「安倍城址」までの縦走路の大部分は，いわゆる「認定路」ではないため，標識類は私製と思われるものがほとんどです．道の整備についても同様と思われるので，注意が必要です千代山の麓にある「千代みどりの森」から山頂までは，静岡市有林内に設けられた幅の広い登山道があり，このルートを使用した登頂が一般的かと思われますこの登山道は幅が広いだけでなく，ほぼ整備もされており，ところどころに木製ベンチや東屋がありますただし，一部落石が多い箇所もあるようで，そのような場所には山側斜面に木柵が設けられていますが，状況によっては注意が必要かもしれません私製と思われる山名標のある山頂は，樹木に囲まれているため展望はなく，ベンチやテーブル類も備えられていませんが，逆にそのような人工物が少ないためなのか，それとも植生のためなのか，やや落ち着いたムードを持っています以上の状況や標高を考慮しますと，この山頂自体をハイキングの目的地とするのは，やや物足りない気がします（特に展望）ハイキングのためにこの山に登るのであれば，展望のある「安倍城址」を目的地とした，「千代みどりの森」から始まる縦走ハイキングにおける中継地（休憩地）として，この山頂を捉えたほうが良いのかもしれませんこの山の詳細につきましては，松浦理博「安倍山系中」の「千代山稜」を御覧ください
