Altitude is 481.5m The log bench, the mountain name mark, and the third pillar of the triangle "Utsuya Village" are the landmarks. The summit is surrounded by tall cedars, so there is no prospect, but it is a relatively large area among the summits of the Maruko Alps, and because there are many log benches, I think that it is a place where a reasonable number of people can take a break. There is no view, but it is a good mountain for a quick hike. It is also popular as a trail running practice course. [Utsunoya Route] From the Shizuoka City side of the Utsunoya Tunnel on Prefectural Road 208 (former National Road 1), head toward the Hayashimichi Utsunoya Line. ■ Higashizawa A route that goes straight up the ridge from Higashizawa. There is no sign at the entrance of the mountain trail, so it is a good idea to use the sign for Chubu Electric Power as a guide. There is an east-west bench (resting place) on the way. The east-west bench is followed by steep stairs. The mountain trails have been improved to make it easier to climb. ■ Nishizawa A route that climbs Nishizawa and bypasses the ridge From the end of the forest road Nishizawa line, go to the back and cross the wooden path. There is a staircase in front of the boardwalk, and if you go to the right, you will join the Higashizawa route. There is a tea plantation on the way, and if you go straight up the tea plantation, you will find the Nishizawa bench. You will reach the ridgeline between Ronsho Hill and Mt. Hanma. [Tanigawa Pass Route] The route to climb from Tanigawa Pass. ■ Yareyare slope If you climb a little toward Utsunoya from Tanigawa Pass, you will find Yareyare Slope, and if you climb Yareyare Slope, you will reach the ridgeline slightly north of Ronsho. Head northeast on the ridge to Mt. Hanma via Ronsho Hill. There is an entrance to the Nishizawa route and the Higashizawa route on the way. ■ Antelope slope If you go to the left of Yareyare Slope, you will reach the ridgeline slightly east of Ronsho Hill via Kamoshika Slope. There are no steep slopes, and you can climb more easily than the Yareyare slope route. [Kurasawa route] A route to climb from the entrance of Kurasawa, a tributary of the Iimatani River.
