お土産コーナーも宇宙食などあって楽しかった
下の方に灯台があって、階段で降りて見に行った。
灯台の中には入れなかったが、とても運動になりました。
途中にある願い事の鐘もならして、願い事もしてみた(*^^*)

The souvenir corner was also fun with space food
There was a lighthouse at the bottom, and I went down the stairs to see it.
I couldn't get inside the lighthouse, but it was a lot of exercise.
I also made a wish by ringing the wish bell on the way (* ^^ *)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料で入館可能です。有料で天体観測ができます。お昼に伺ったのですが、(海沿いで、市街地の灯りが無いので恐らく)夜空がキレイだろうなぁと思いました。でも、お昼の景色も海沿いなのでとてもキレイです。今回は薄曇りで天体観測ができなかったのですが、次回にまた訪れたいと思います。
道中、道がかなり狭いので注意が必要です。(夜間ならばなおさらです)付近で工事が行われており、大型車の通行もあります。すれ違いはかなり大変です。
しかし、来年度(令和5年度中)にリニューアルするみたいで期待大です。(プラネタリウムも有？)
You can enter the museum free of charge. You can observe astronomical objects for a fee. I visited at noon and thought that the night sky would be beautiful (probably because there are no lights in the city by the sea). However, the scenery at noon is also by the sea, so it is very beautiful. I couldn't observe the astronomical object because it was cloudy this time, but I would like to visit again next time.
Please note that the road is quite narrow along the way. Construction is being carried out in the vicinity (especially at night), and large vehicles are also allowed to pass. Passing each other is quite difficult.
However, it seems that it will be renewed next year (during the 5th year of Reiwa), so I have high expectations. (Do you have a planetarium?)

とても見晴らしの良いとこでした。
近くの島や四国の島も遠くに見えました。
オリンピックの銅メダルを作る‥？記事がありました 。オリンピック銅メダルですが、佐賀関半島の佐賀関製錬所 (JX金属製錬株式会社)で製造され造幣局で刻印、仕上げが施されました。こちらの展示は5月までとなっているようです。

Make an Olympic bronze medal ...? There was an article. Although it is an Olympic bronze medal, it was manufactured at the Saganoseki Smelter (JX Metal Smelting Co., Ltd.) on the Saganoseki Peninsula, and was stamped and finished by the Japan Mint. This exhibition seems to be until May.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 無料駐車場有。館内も無料で見れました。館内のお土産に宇宙食がありました。天気が良い日はここから見る夜空の星がとてもキレイなんだと思います。この場所に来るには山側と海側があるのですが海側から来るときはスリル満点です。
Free parking available. I could see the hall for free. There was space food as a souvenir in the hall. I think the stars in the night sky seen from here are very beautiful when the weather is nice. There are a mountain side and a sea side to come to this place, but when coming from the sea side, it is a thrilling score.

有料の天体観測スペースの他、無料で入れる資料館やお土産コーナーも。
宇宙に関する様々な資料があるので、年齢・性別を問わず楽しめること間違いなし。
また、宇宙食やJAXAに関連するグッズなど、他では手に入らない珍しい商品の購入ができるので、それ目当てでも楽しめる。
ここに至るまでの景観も含めて、お勧めのスポット。
佐賀関に訪れる機会があればぜひ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the coolest place ever. Don't bike here like I did. The road is ridiculously steep and then the place isn't even at the top so you'll have to climb back up and over to get back.
Anyways. Come here. It's so cool. You can see galaxies and the people here are really friendly (not sure how good their english is though). Most picturesque location ever.
