★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関川神社の社殿の向かって左側の大楠で二宇のお堂後ろに枝を広げ覆いかぶさるようにそびえています。豊川市教育委員会説明板によると天然記念物で樹齢は約８００年、慶長14年（1609年）に発生した付近火災により被災した痕跡が残るとの事です。街道散歩での立ち寄りにお勧めです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夏の夜は短く、月も出たかと思えばすぐ明けてしまう様子を詠んだ芭蕉の句碑が境内にある。本殿を抱きかかえるように茂るクスノキは、推定樹齢800年。市指定天然記念物。樹高27ｍ・根回り７～８ｍの巨木で見ごたえがあります。
