Mitsuke is a lookout place at the entrance of the post town. Former Tokaido post town, Akasaka-juku Mitsuke (the east) was in this place.

「いちのはし」を渡り数メートル進むと右側に東の見附跡の案内板がある。
ここが赤坂宿の東入口となり、赤坂宿中心へと入っていく。
On the western edge of the pine trees of Goyu, there is a stream, and "Ichinohashi" is hung.
After crossing "Ichinohashi" and going a few meters, you will see the information board of the eastern Mitsuke trace on the right side.
This is the east entrance of Akasaka-juku, and you will enter the center of Akasaka-juku.
