manacaの利用が可能である。駅集中管理システムが導入された無人駅である。
プラットホームからは近くの宮路山が見える。御油の松並木の松も見える。
東名高速道路も見え、東名音羽バス停、音羽蒲郡ICへも近い。
当駅で購入は不可能だが（豊橋駅、金山駅、名鉄名古屋駅で発売）「なごや特割2平日」（2枚組み1740円）[2]「なごや特別2土休日」[3]（2枚組み1540円）利用可。なお名鉄名古屋駅までの大人1人の運賃は920円であり、なごや特割2平日1枚あたり50円、なごや特割2土休日1枚あたり150円差がある。

It is not possible to purchase at this station (released at Toyohashi Station, Kanayama Station, Meitetsu Nagoya Station) "Nagoya Special Discount 2 Weekdays" (2 discs 1740 yen) [2] "Nagoya Special 2 Saturdays and Holidays" [3] (2) A set of 1540 yen) is available. It is an unmanned station. The toilet is outside the ticket gate. The platform has some roofs, but there is no waiting room that completely blocks the wind.

名古屋方面ホームの改札を出たところに、コミュニティバスの乗り場がある。
