Pros: generous portion size, interesting chicken+salt flavour
Cons: sparse toppings, weird-tasting chashuu (a little sweet, with not enough fat)
They have some more interesting items on the menu so I would try one of those next time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this ramen is pretty delicious. Surprisingly, the prices were normal for being in a tourist district. We got the umasio and the noukou. If you're going for a clear tasting broth, try the umasio, if you prefer a more rich broth, try the noukou. The noodles are thin, almost like wanton noodles. And the charsiu is remarkable. The umasio had dried lemon peel inside it, which was really unique, and the first I've seen in any ramen. The noukou had a hint of a mild spicy taste, Overall, this is a good try if you haven't try shio ramen (ramen made with a broth that has a main focus on salt for its flavour).

If you have time to visit Nara Park but then you want to eat ramen, I'd recommend this ramen shop. It's about 3-5 minutes walking from JR Nara Station and 5-10 minutes from Kintetsu Nara Station

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ramen restaurant has the best ramen - simply delicious ? !!! Located only 5 minutes away from the JR Nara Station.
The soup is chicken based and is rich & full of flavour. The ramen is shio (salt). The chashu melts in your mouth and has a nice bbq taste. The noodles have good texture. I recommend adding an egg - a nice addition to your meal.
The owner is very nice and friendly - taking care of all customers with a smile.
You order your ramen through a vending machine and can add extra toppings - egg, chashu, noodles, etc. The restaurant also has chahan, gyoza and more.
I’ll definitely be back here soon - enjoy ?
