k	kuba holík on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming little ramenary with less than 10 bar seats. Service is cheerful, but understands little English. Luckily, they have an English menu, so pointing at things is possible. Also limited number of options (fish or pork stock with two types of noodles) makes ordering an easy task. Fish ramen was quite good with medium richness and no spiciness (extra sauces were available). At 780 yen for large noodle portion it's a fair deal.

The fish soup is recommended to serve with thin noodle and the pork soup is recommended with thick noodle. I tried pork soup, it's very smooth, not too oily and not too salty. The chashu (pork belly) is normal (I've tasted a better one). Overall, good price with balanced flavor profile. Would recommend a try.

The restaurant itself is off the main tourist path to Nara Park. While we were there it was only locals. The staff speaks little English but there are English menus. Staff was very friendly.
