夜に下車したので、図書館も閉まっており真っ暗。
昼間にもう一度訪れたい駅。佐久間ダムも見てみたい。
A station that is also used with the municipal library.
Since I got off at night, the library was closed and it was pitch black.
The station you want to visit again in the daytime. I also want to see Sakuma Dam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ダムや水力発電所の横を、すり抜ける様に、旧形国電に乗って、この駅に着いたあの頃、懐かしいなあ。
横浜の鶴見線程ではありませんが、工場の感じが味わえるかな？むしろこの山岳地帯で、これ程の光景に、お目に掛かれる事が、素敵と表現しても、全く差し支えないと思いますが、如何でしょうか？
I miss the time when I arrived at this station on the old national train, as if passing by a dam or a hydroelectric power plant.
It's not as good as the Tsurumi line in Yokohama, but can you enjoy the feeling of a factory? Rather, I think it's safe to say that it's nice to see such a scene in this mountainous area, but how about it?

旧駅舎の跡地に浜松市立図書館の分館が建っている。図書館は開館時間内であれば館内を待合室として利用可能。ただし、無人駅のため、図書館ではきっぷの販売は行っていない。中部天竜駅が管理している。
Iida Line (JR Tokai)
A branch of the Hamamatsu City Library is built on the site of the former station building. The library can be used as a waiting room during the opening hours. However, because the station is unmanned, the library does not sell tickets. It is managed by Chubu Tenryu Station.

田舎に佇むこじんまりとしている駅で落ち着きます。また図書館が隣接しており佐久間町と中部町の地図を手にいれることができます。
I used it when I visited Ryuo Gongen Falls.
Settle down at a small station in the countryside. In addition, the library is adjacent and you can get a map of Sakuma Town and Chubu Town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 図書館隣接という珍しい駅です。本数少ない飯田線の列車待ちには大変好都合な駅かと思います。隣駅の中部天竜駅が有人駅なのでそちらで降りる方が多いかもですが、もし中部天竜駅で降りて次の列車待ちをするのならその時間で中部天竜駅から佐久間駅まで歩いてみてはいかがでしょうか。歩行距離約1.6km、時間にして２０分程度です。線路脇のスリリングな橋を渡る等、歩いても退屈しません。
It is a rare station next to the library. I think it is a very convenient station for waiting for trains on the Iida Line, which is rare. The next station, Chubutenryu Station, is a manned station, so many people may get off there, but if you get off at Chubutenryu Station and wait for the next train, why not walk from Chubutenryu Station to Sakuma Station at that time? Is not it. The walking distance is about 1.6km and the time is about 20 minutes. You won't get bored even if you walk, such as crossing a thrilling bridge beside the railroad tracks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 可愛い建物が佐久間駅と浜松市立図書館、隣接しているというより同じ建物内！図書館の入口付近に地元に関する資料があり一見の価値あり。
A cute building is in the same building as Sakuma Station and Hamamatsu City Library, rather than adjacent to each other! There are local materials near the entrance of the library and it is worth seeing.
