★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔よく利用しました。平日日中は閑散とした駅です。喧騒を避け、のんびりぶらりとするには良いと思います。駅前のバス停からは遊園地のプレジャーフォレストや三ケ木方面、高尾や八王子や藤野駅にも向かえます。
 I used to use it a long time ago. It is a quiet station during the day on weekdays. I think it's good to avoid the hustle and bustle and relax. From the bus stop in front of the station, you can head to the amusement park Pleasure Forest, the direction of Mikage, Takao, Hachioji, and Fujino Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自宅最寄り駅から、高尾以遠直通列車で2駅15分ぐらいで相模湖駅に到着する。
相模湖遊覧や、低山ハイク、それから相模湖プレジャーフォレスト(日帰りキャンプ、遊園地、屋外アトラクション)を楽しむために、年に1, 2回利用する。
それから、これは蛇足だが、数年に一度ぐらい、東京から大月ゆき快速電車を利用して帰宅する際、誤って乗り過ごして当駅まで来てしまうことがある。
From the station closest to your home, take a direct train from Takao to Sagamiko station in about 15 minutes from 2 stations.
Use once or twice a year to enjoy Sagamiko excursions, low mountain hikes, and Sagamiko Pleasure Forest (day camps, amusement parks, outdoor attractions).
Also, this is a snake, but once every few years, when I go home from Tokyo by Otsuki Yuki rapid train, I sometimes accidentally get over and come to this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 久々に訪問してみたら駅舎がリニューアルしていました。
駅舎のフォルムはそのままで、お色直しされたようです。現在でも色褪せない素晴らしい造形に思えました。この駅舎が完成した当時は近未来的な印象を与えたことだと思います。
When I visited after a long time, the station building was renewed.
The form of the station building remains the same, and it seems that it has been recolored. It seemed to be a wonderful model that does not fade even now. When this station building was completed, I think it gave an impression of the near future.

相模湖から最も近い駅ですね！
The roundabout in front of the station is wide and adjacent to the tourist information center and park.
It's the closest station to Lake Sagami!
