この駅は評価したくない。やむなく星一つだが、本来は-5。珍しく八王子の駅前では無料駐輪場があるが、50mもない複数人いる交番のすぐ近くなのに、自転車泥棒が盛んに自転車を盗む。 それだけ警察が間抜けなのだが、自転車が盗まれても、「被害届に盗難防止ナンバーがないと···」、なる下らない事をのたまわる。実態を聞く気もないので被害届は二週間後回しにした 。実際役立たずに時間を割くだけ無駄。 警察の塩対応を見ると、如何に自転車盗難が多いか分かるが、そもそも彼らは同情も関心もないらしい。ノルマ(点数稼ぎ)にしか関心がない、というのは本当らしい。 元自衛隊員曰く「公務員をやっていると頭が変になる」言い得て妙(´Д`) 有料駐輪場は駅の高架下にあり、監視員がいなくなれば人の目が届かず、とても置く気になれない。 警察だけではない。この田舎駅前は高架化してもむしろ寂れた。昔あった本屋菓子屋は潰れ、銀行やまつ屋が出来たが散閑とした様子は全く変わらない。駅中の店も良く潰れラーメン屋やサブウェイもなくなった。郵便局の駅中atmも消えた。この駅は一つも発展しない。 理由の一つは八王子バイパスが駅を横断していることで、北野駅南北バス亭を分断している。しかも南側にはすぐ側を川が流れ商業施設を拡大出来ない。もちろん駅を作った当時は八王子バイパスはなかったが、計画は早くからあった。だいたい川は昔からある。こんなところに駅を作ったのが間違い┐('~`;)┌だが、用地買収に失敗したらしい。 八王子に住む人は大半が八王子の田舎臭さや不便さ、駅前すぐにパチスロのあるヤクザな街の治安の悪さ、市役所の金の無さやそれに基づく施策の無さに嫌気が差すが、実際ここに来る人は山梨県人が多いらしい。 高幡不動以降の京王線の駅は繁華な駅はないが、ここは「山梨県の砺波鉄道日暮駅です」と適当に言っても、騙されてしまうのではなかろうか?(*_*)

Toilets are kept clean, no other issues, except the English announcements are a waste of time. Japanese describes exactly where the next train is going and from what platform, whereas English is just an abrupt "Train is approaching!"
