でも橋本に出るまでのこの一駅が不便。相模線の本数が少ないので。
There is Sanwa (supermarket) in front of the station, which is convenient. The station is quiet and nice.
But this one station is inconvenient until I go to Hashimoto. Because there are few Sagami lines.

でもちゃんと駅員がいます。
ただ、指定券販売機があるといいのだけど。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 相模原市中央区南橋本２丁目に位置する、JR相模線の駅であります。乗降客数も１日約5,000人程度が利用します。開業当時は「大河原停留所」でした。
※相模原市緑区の主要駅である橋本から約２km離れていて、区域も緑区と中央区で区別されていますね。
海老名駅と同様、地上にホーム・橋上駅舎があります。島式ホームで、橋本方面行の電車と茅ヶ崎方面行の電車が交互に来る。エレベーターと階段はホームの上溝寄りに、エスカレーターはホーム中央にあります。改札外コンコースにもエレベーターがあり、バリアフリーに対応していて比較的新しい。
駅舎は2006年（平成18年）10月に改築されていて、以前は木造の地平駅舎でした。翌々年の2008年（平成20年）には、東口に駅前ロータリーが整備された。
当駅周辺には、国道16号（横浜方面）と国道129号（厚木方面）といった幹線道路に程近く、大手企業の工場が多数ある。その他、多くのマンションも建ち並んでいる。ホームセンターコーナン相模原小山モール店にも近くて、歩いて行けます。スーパー三和は東口にあります。
It is a station on the JR Sagami Line, located in Minamihashimoto 2-chome, Chuo-ku, Sagamihara City. The number of passengers is about 5,000 a day. At the time of opening, it was the "Ogawara stop".
* It is about 2km away from Hashimoto, which is the main station in Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, and the area is also divided into Midori Ward and Chuo Ward.
Like Ebina Station, there is a platform / Hashigami station building on the ground. At the island platform, trains bound for Hashimoto and trains bound for Chigasaki alternate. The elevator and stairs are near the Kamimizo of the platform, and the escalator is in the center of the platform. There is also an elevator in the concourse outside the ticket gate, which is barrier-free and relatively new.
The station building was renovated in October 2006, and was formerly a wooden horizon station building. In 2008 (Heisei 20), the following year, a rotary in front of the station was constructed at the east exit.
Around this station, there are many factories of major companies near the main roads such as National Highway 16 (Yokohama direction) and National Highway 129 (Atsugi direction). In addition, many condominiums are lined up. It is close to the Home Center Kohnan Sagamihara Oyama Mall and can be reached on foot. Super Sanwa is at the east exit.
