元はねねの持仏堂で、現在は三江紹益像、ねねの兄の木下家定と妻の雲照院像、高台寺の普請に尽力した堀直政の像が安置されています。
開山堂の天井は秀吉の御座舟の天井と、ねねの御所車の天井を用いたものだと言われています。
また狩野山楽が描いたと言われる龍図があります。

Formerly Nene's Mochibutsu-do, the statue of Shomasu Mie, the statue of Kinoshita Iesada and his wife, Unshoin, and the statue of Naomasa Hori, who worked for Kodaiji Temple, are now enshrined.
It is said that the ceiling of Kaisando is the ceiling of Hideyoshi's Gozabune and the ceiling of Nene's Gosho car.
There is also a dragon map that is said to have been drawn by Kano Sanraku.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高台寺の開山堂は慶長10年(1605)の建立で、中興開山の三江紹益像を祀っています。天井には秀吉が用いた御座船の天井や北政所の御所車の天井が用いられています。
Kaisando of Kodaiji Temple was built in 1605 and enshrines the statue of Shomasu Mie of Kaisan in Chuko. For the ceiling, the ceiling of the Goza boat used by Hideyoshi and the ceiling of the Gosho cart of the Kitaseisho are used.
